How healthy are you as a cyclist?

We all want to have lean and good bodies but in some sports it’s not the healthiest, while cycling you also train your heart and you can reach over 185 beats per minute and sometimes you have to keep that effort and it’s not the healthiest. Pro cyclists ride over 5 hours in some competitions and stages in a grand tour which means their heart works non stop for long periods of time which means they have a lower resting heart rate. The lowest resting heart rate of a cyclist ever recorded was 29 beats per minute, this heart rate would set off alarms in the hospital but because their heart is trained and strong enough to pump up all the blood to the body they’re not in the hospital, don’t forget the crashes that could also change your life forever.

Just because you’re lean it doesn’t mean you’re healthy.
